HTML (hypertext markup language) is a programming language that is used to build web pages and other types of documents on the internet. HTML is one of the foundational technologies used to build websites, consisting of headers, paragraphs, lists, tables, forms, and links.

HTML is like the blueprints of your house.

A blueprint defines the structure, layout, and components of a building.

The blueprint will leverage a set of symbols and language specific to the construction roadmap in order to convey the proper information to the architects and engineers who will be constructing the building itself.

A building cannot be built without blueprints as otherwise there aren't the foundational elements and proper steps to build.

HTML is the framework or skeleton of your web page. It's the infrastructure that allows your site to be built upon.

Hashing is the process of transforming any given key or a string of characters into another value.

To hash something is to chop it and mix it.

When you cook hash browns, you can take any potato, hash it up, and out comes hash browns.

You can't look at the hash browns and tell the cook exactly the size and shape and color of the potato used to create these hash browns, because no matter what the input of potatoes are, the end output will always be hash browns.

Hashing is the process in which a computer will chop up an input and produce a consistent output of equal length/value. Hashing is used for encryption, so for example, when you enter a password, instead of storing the exact password, you hash it so anyone who can see the stored password can't figure out what the true password value is.

Hosting is the action that describes how storage and computing resources are provided to an individual or organization for the accommodation and maintenance of one or more websites and related services via a server.

Imagine that you have an apartment within a building. There are tons of apartments within that one building.

The building is hosting your apartment, just as it is hosting all of your neighbors' apartments.

Hosting is the action that gives a website a place to live on the internet.

In-house development, also known as insourcing, describes software developed by an internal team, without external assistance from consultants or staff augmentation.

In-house development is like hiring an employee.

When you start a company, you need to hire people. Those people that you hire can be from all different departments. If you have a lot of marketing work that needs to be done, maybe you need to hire some social media managers and digital marketing experts. If you are struggling in the growth category then maybe you will need to hire someone for business development.

Companies will commonly hire in-house when they require the full-time resource of the individual, don't require as much flexibility, and can afford the overhead costs of hiring an employee.

However, sometimes if you can't afford to hire a full-time resource as an employee for some tasks, you will outsource those tasks rather than hiring employees to cover it.

In-house development is when you hire a full-time employee. In legal (IRS) speak, it is called a W-2.
